Supporting effective CBT for children and young people
CBT Hub was created to address a familiar challenge in practice: finding CBT worksheets and resources that are both clinically sound and genuinely engaging for children and young people.
Our Mission
Too often, child therapists are faced with materials that are theoretically accurate but difficult to use, or simplified worksheets that lack clinical depth.
CBT Hub was built to bridge that gap. Our mission is simple: to help therapists feel supported and young people feel understood.
Our approach
Every resource is written, reviewed, and tested by qualified clinicians, and informed by clinical research, learning theory, and direct feedback from young people.
The result is a collection of tools that genuinely connect—supporting CBT that is easier to understand, apply, and remember in real therapeutic work.
How this shows up in practice
Meet the experts
Deya Roberts – Founder & Chief Clinical Officer
Deya Roberts is a CBT Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Associate Lecturer working across low- and high-intensity CBT with children and young people.
She has experience across charitable, education, and private settings, including clinical leadership roles within Mental Health Support Teams. Deya teaches on CYP-IAPT programmes for EMHPs and CWPs and provides clinical and meta-supervision to practitioners across disciplines.
CBT Hub was created from Deya’s direct experience of practice — recognising how difficult it can be to find resources that are both evidence-informed and genuinely engaging for children and young people. Her work is driven by a belief that therapy should feel clear, human, and meaningful, and that therapists deserve tools they can trust in real sessions.
Alongside leading CBT Hub, Deya continues to work clinically and teach, ensuring the platform remains grounded in frontline practice and shaped by the voices of practitioners and young people.
Bella Datta — Founder & Head of Research and Learning
Bella Datta holds an MPhil in Psychology and Education from the University of Cambridge and has published research on mindfulness in school settings. She is both a practitioner and an educator, with experience working across education and NHS Mental Health Teams. This dual perspective gives her a strong understanding of how research can inform both therapeutic practice and learning.
At CBT Hub, Bella leads on research and learning, ensuring resources are grounded in evidence while remaining clear, accessible, and relevant to real-world work.
Her combined practitioner and educator background supports CBT Hub’s focus on bridging theory and practice, helping practitioners deliver thoughtful, effective interventions with children and young people.
Dr. Luisa Sanz – Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Advisor
Luisa is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 25 years’ experience, including serving as a Clinical Director within UK services.
Alongside her NHS and own practice, Luisa founded Mind Yr Life, a platform dedicated to empowering families and professionals through open, practical conversations about mental health.
At CBT Hub, she brings strategic insight and clinical depth, helping ensure every resource reflects compassion, authenticity, and best practice in child and adolescent care.
