3. Free Access (Free Packs)
Free access allows you to download one starter pack per person. These packs are designed to help you explore CBT Hub and understand the style, structure, and practical use of the resources in your work with children and young people.
To ensure fair use, access is limited to one free pack per person. Creating multiple accounts or attempting to access additional packs may result in restricted access.
All Terms apply equally to free users.
4. Membership Types
- Trainee Membership: Available to users enrolled in a recognised training programme. Proof of trainee status may be requested within 7 working days. Failure to provide valid proof may result in the suspension of access, or conversion to the full individual membership rate
- Individual Membership: Access is for one named user only. You must register using a personal, non-generic email address (e.g. not info@, admin@, team@). Accounts and resources must not be shared.
- Team Membership (Access for Teams): team memberships are purchased by an organisation for multiple users.
- Access: Each team member must register using a valid work email address linked to their organisation. Personal (e.g. yourname@hotmail.com) or generic (e.g. theorganisation@org.uk) email addresses are not permitted for team membership accounts.
- Account Transfers: In the event that a team member leaves the organisation during the subscription period, their login may be transferred to another team member at no additional cost. This transfer must be requested in writing by the organisation, specifying the departing member’s account details and the replacement team member’s work email address. This policy ensures that organisations can continue to utilise their subscription efficiently.
- Team responsibility: It is the responsibility of the subscribing organisation to notify CBT Hub if any team member leaves or is no longer authorised to access the account. Failure to notify us of changes to team membership may result in account suspension or termination.
- Team memberships are intended strictly for use within a single organisation, by verified team members using valid work email addresses. Failure to comply may result in immediate suspension of your account and billing at the full individual membership rate.

If no action is taken, your subscription will renew and payment will be processed using the payment details you provided.
- Cancellation by you: Users retain the freedom to cancel their Subscription at any time. However, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date to avoid being billed for the subsequent yearly period. Should you wish to discontinue the renewal, simply log into your account and select the option to ‘Cancel subscription.’
If you cancel your subscription before the end of the year, you will maintain access to your account and the license to use our materials for the remaining duration. However, once your subscription expires, your access to CBT Hub will end. Your licence to use CBT Hub materials will also end. This includes any previously downloaded resources, which must not be used, shared, or distributed after your subscription has expired.
- Cancellation by us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the products and/or services in the event of fraud or a breach of any obligations outlined in these Terms and if you fail to make payment to us by the due date.
Termination or suspension of your account may occur immediately and without prior notice.
We do not offer refunds, either in full or in part, under any circumstances. By purchasing, you agree to receive immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that this results in the loss of your statutory 14-day cancellation right.
6. Keeping your account safe
- If you receive or select a user ID, password, or any other security information, it’s your responsibility to safeguard it. Treat this information confidentially and do not share it with any third party.
- When registering an account, use your own first and last name along with an email address accessible only by you. Accounts must not be shared among multiple users. If you suspect unauthorized access to your user ID or password, promptly inform us at info@cbthub.org.
We reserve the right to deactivate any user ID or password, whether chosen by you or assigned by us, if we reasonably believe you have violated any of these Terms.
7. Payment Terms
- The use of our products may require the payment of fees. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time and to set pricing at our sole discretion.
- If you use a credit card for payment, our third-party payment processor, Stripe, may seek pre-authorization of your credit card account to verify its validity and availability of funds or credit. When a third-party payment processor is used, their use of your personal information is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our products and/or services if you fail to make payment to us by the due date.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
- By granting you the right to use the Products or Services, CBT Hub does not assume any obligation or liability with respect to your or your clients’ psychological or physical health.
- We do not assume any liability for the outcomes resulting from the use of our resources. Our materials are developed to support practitioners with the delivery of therapy, not to replace good practice.
CBT Hub encourages practitioners to practice within the bounds of their own competencies, continue to refer to existing, suitable manualised and evidence-based treatment programs, and discuss the formulation and case conceptualisation of clinical cases in supervision.
The Website and its content, which includes worksheets, text, graphics, images, and other materials, are intended for general informational purposes. However, they may not always represent the most up-to-date research in all scientific and medical fields.
It is important to understand that these resources are not a substitute for professional advice. Before making any decisions based on the content found on the Website, it’s advisable to seek guidance from a qualified professional or specialist. Your reliance on the information provided is at your own discretion and risk.
9. Indemnity and limitation of liability
- You are responsible for your use of our products and services, and you agree to defend and indemnify CBT Hub from: (a) your unauthorised or improper use of our Products or Services; (b) violation of any part of these Terms, any representation, warranty, or agreement referenced in these Terms, or any Applicable Law; (c) violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right.
- CBT Hub will promptly inform you in writing of any such claim, demand, action, or suit; however, failure to do so will not affect your obligation of indemnity, except to the extent materially prejudiced thereby. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, and in that case, you agree to cooperate with our defence of those claims.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, CBT Hub will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or your inability to access or use our products or any materials or content on our website. This includes damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or any other intangible loss, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, regardless of whether CBT Hub has been informed of the possibility of damage.
10. Fair Use
To ensure fair and sustainable access for all users, a daily usage limit applies when accessing and downloading resources.
You can access up to 25 resources within a 24-hour period. For most members, this provides more than enough flexibility for effective session planning and preparation.
This limit is in place to support consistent access across the platform and to prevent misuse, helping us maintain the quality and availability of resources for all users.
Once the daily limit is reached, access will reset automatically after 24 hours.
User activity is monitored to support fair use. A high volume of downloads within a short period of time, or access from multiple locations, may be flagged as unusual activity. In these cases, access may be temporarily paused while this is reviewed, and a member of our team may contact you.
11. Changes to Terms
CBT Hub reserves the right to amend or update these Terms, as well as any other policies or practices, at any time. If a modification to these Terms significantly alters your rights or obligations, we may notify you and require your acceptance of the revised Terms to continue using the Products or Services.
We may communicate such changes through pop-up or push notifications within the Products, or via email. By continuing to use the Products or Services after such modification, you agree to adhere to the revised Terms.
A Final Note From Us
As practitioners, we never wanted to settle for anything less than the highest quality care for young people. That’s why CBT Hub was created — to offer thoughtful, evidence-informed tools that truly support therapy.
Every resource we develop reflects the time, care, and commitment we bring to this work, because young people deserve nothing less.
When our resources are misused or shared in ways that breach our terms, it’s not just a contractual issue. It compromises the integrity of everything we’ve worked so hard to build — and ultimately disadvantages the very children and young people we all aim to support.
For this reason, we treat breaches of our terms and conditions with the utmost seriousness — out of respect for those who adhere to our policies and to protect the wider purpose we are all working towards.
