Exposure & Habituation: Learning to Surf the Anxiety Wave

This visual CBT psychoeducation resource helps young people understand how anxiety can rise, peak and settle when they stay in a feared situation.

Using an accessible anxiety wave graph, it explores exposure, habituation and how avoidance or escape can keep anxiety going, supporting conversations about facing fears and new learning.
