Fear: Useful stuff to know

This resource explores how phobias can develop as a result of the brain misinterpreting a situation or object as a threat to survival, triggering the body’s fight or flight mode.

It is designed to support therapists in educating young people about the nature of phobias, and introduces the idea of graded exposure as a treatment approach.
