Whole School Approach

Schools and colleges play a crucial role in nurturing the mental health and well-being of their students. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE, 2022) outlines the importance of adopting a whole-school approach (WSA) to support the emotional, social and mental wellbeing of staff, children and young people in primary and secondary education.

In this section you will find resources, such as assemblies or workshops, to help you deliver interventions based on the eight WSA principles (Public Health England & DfE, 2021).
