Thoughts of disaster
This resource helps young people explore how frightening thoughts during a panic attack often stem from intense bodily sensations—like dizziness, breathlessness, or tingling. It invites them to link physical sensations with the catastrophic beliefs they may trigger.
It is designed to support therapists in psychoeducation around the body–mind connection in panic, helping young people identify misinterpretations and begin challenging unhelpful thinking patterns.
