Why Uncertainty Can Feel Difficult
This resource explores how intolerance of uncertainty can show up in the everyday thoughts and behaviours associated with generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and worry, helping young people recognise common patterns such as reassurance-seeking, over-checking and avoidance.
It is designed as a therapeutic, reflective resource to support engagement in sessions, strengthen collaborative formulation and help young people gently consider how their coping strategies may provide short-term relief while also maintaining anxiety over time.
