Low Mood

Our low mood collection is designed to support practitioners in delivering values-based Behavioural Activation with young people (Reynolds & Pass, 2021).

Resources include psychoeducation worksheets that clearly explain the principles of BA and build motivation for change, alongside values-focused activities to help teens identify what matters most to them and reconnect with meaningful, rewarding experiences.

CBT is a NICE-recommended treatment for depression in children and young people (NICE NG134, 2019), and Brief BA is widely for mild to moderate low mood as a practical, time-limited approach that supports engagement and change.
